Piggy Bank Engraving
It all started with the piggy bank. As a child I had a cast iron piggy bank. I loved it. Back then, your only choice was a pig shape. Not today. You can get race car banks, front end loader banks, Vault banks, and yes you can still get a piggy bank. Today, they are all silver plates or they have a pewter like surface. They all engrave great.
Life was easier for the engraver if it was only pig banks to engrave, but your selection to fit the personality of your child has exploded.
At the Engraving Connection we have designed special jigs to handle all sorts of banks. We even carry many styles of piggy banks.
How we engrave piggy banks.
We use diamonds to engrave the baby cups. The process is called diamond drag engraving. We usually engrave the top of the bank near the coin slot. Most of the time, we put the child's name on one side of the slot and birth date on the other.
The sport car banks and other novelty banks, we go for the area largest and easiest to see area. The sports car on the roof of the car.

Shipping
If you are not in Southeastern Michigan, it is OK to ship your engraving job to us. Make sure you include: what you want engraved, your name, address, phone number and email address. We will contact you with a quote and suggestions for engraving. Once you approve the order we will ask you for a credit card.
Shipping Note: Make sure your engraving job is well padded! We don't want any damage to your precious merchandise.
